About United Cerebral Palsy of Southern Arizona
We strive to create the perfect relationship between individuals with disabilities and our Direct Care Workers. Through collaborative strategies emphasizing diversity, dignity, and quality of life, we want to harness the power of respect and compassion to ignite long-term relationships. UCPSA individuals are provided with a designated Program Manager who organizes support and customized care based on the unique needs and schedules of our friends with disabilities; ensuring reliable and compassionate care. All of UCPSA’s Direct Care Workers have cleared a fingerprint/background check, and are certified in CPR as well as First Aid. Plus, all have received extensive training in providing direct-support services.
United Cerebral Palsy was founded over 72 years ago and has been fully committed to being an indispensable resource for individuals with cerebral palsy, their families, and their communities. As an affiliate of UCP, United Cerebral Palsy of Southern Arizona serves adults and children with disabilities, either evidenced from birth, or the result of an accident as a consequence of aging.
These essential services allow people to remain in their homes, living independently or with family. These services are available 24/7 and have provided individuals with a sense of dignity, making them feel included.
These services are provided through the Division of Developmental Disabilities, Banner Health, Pima Council on Aging, several other local organizations, and private pay. Individuals served range in age from infants to the elderly and care is customized depending on the level of care needed.
