About Meditation for Warrior Wellness
Meditation for Warrior Wellness came about through a confluence of events. Organizations, such as Boulder Crest, were making great strides with PTSD treatments in a retreat style setting and the David Lynch Foundation was having similar success using Transcendental Meditation as a treatment for PTSD. The problem was that about half of the soldiers with PTSD were still not been helped. Financial concerns, paperwork and other obstacles were getting in the way of our soldiers finding relief. Meditation for Warrior Wellness stepped in and found a way to overcome obstacles by bringing government, private sector, healthcare and fundraising together. Our goal is to provide soldiers with local therapists on a national level, to help in minimal time, with maximum effect.
At the heart of this effort is Meditation for Warrior Wellness’s compassion for the well-being of our soldiers and the acute need for better treatment, locally. The hardworking men and women of our fighting force, should be able to reach out and get help quickly. We strive every day to help those suffering with PTSD to find a lasting release from symptoms.
