Monthly meeting for middle and high school students to support community youth in developing personal, interpersonal, and drug resistance skills
with engaging and fun activities. The activities are designed to strengthen student abilities for making healthy decisions, reducing stress, and managing anger. Youth will also strengthen their communication skills, learn how to build healthy relationships, and understand the consequences of substance use, risktaking, and the influences of the media. Our youth coalition best practices curriculum includes "Too Good For Drugs"
and "Botvin Life Skills", as well as risks of Smoking and Vaping.

The 2023 Home Tour will take you on an amazing adventure of five Tubac area homes. You’ll be inspired by the variety of design features, gardens, and art collections.

 

Plan for lunch at local restaurants. Visit our Dining Guide for restaurant information. Check in at the art center beginning at 9am on Saturday to check in and pick up your ticket/map. The tour begins at 10am.

Coffee will be provided by Tumacookery during the check in.

No restrooms or photography inside the homes.

 

Tickets: $30 TCA Members, $35 NonMembers

The Santa Cruz Valley Car Nuts will hold their 28nd Annual Car Show this year on Saturday January 28th, 2023. Badged as the “Sahuarita Classics Car Show, it is the premier car show in Southern Arizona.
All cars will remain on the fields till the end of show, due to safety reasons.

$5.00 admission fee
Children 12 and under - FREE
Two 50/50 Cash Drawings
Car registration and entry - 8:00 am to 10:00 am

We have partnered with The Town of Sahuarita to host this event at Quail Creek Veterans Memorial Park. This ten-acre, multiuse facility is the home of two all grass soccer fields. Over four hundred of the area’s finest collector, and classic vehicles will be on display. Local Dealership’s will also be displaying their High-Performance Showroom Stock vehicles (see on Saturday …. purchase on Monday) All of this paired with award winning Food Trucks and a Beer/Wine Garden, is sure to be the “go to” event on Saturday, January 28th.

Resilience chronicles the promising beginnings of a national movement to prevent childhood trauma, treat toxic stress and greatly improve the health of future generations.
